With regard to the measures included
in the Plan of Excellence, we must begin with its overall
objective of energizing activity as the main resource
for the Municipality and the island of Lanzarote, and
that is aimed at improving their image and promoting leisure
activities for the end users, while maintaining and coordinating
all tourist activities within the scope of the environment,
history and culture of Teguise.
Some examples of activities to be undertaken
during the project:
Creation of a network of Tourist Information
Offices
Energy savings in street lighting
Furniture and accessibility to the beaches
Restoration of buildings
Adaptation of natural spaces
Organization of quality tourism training courses
Improvement and/or installation of tourism signage
Publicising the Plan of Excellence
Development of website for the Plan of Excellence
